At Tamborine Mountain Distillery, we’ve crafted a spirited lineup of experiences that invite you to sip, shake, blend, and savour your way through the region’s most flavourful season.

Why Eat Local Month Matters
Eat Local Month is a celebration of the Scenic Rim’s rich food and farming culture, bringing together growers, makers, chefs, and artisans across more than 120 events throughout the month. From lush farmlands to boutique producers, this is a rare chance to connect directly with the people behind the region’s incredible produce and craft.
What We’re Pouring in June
At Tamborine Mountain Distillery, we’re proud to be Queensland’s oldest craft distillery, with over 350 international awards celebrating the quality and innovation of our spirits. Eat Local Month is our chance to open our doors wider than ever. Make it extra special with a Winter Harvest Grazing Platter curated by Chef Brenden Schutz of Main St Provedore—featuring local cheeses, pork terrine, candied cumquats and more. Or take a peek behind the scenes with a distillery tour hosted by our Head Distiller, Gordon Chalmers.

Citrus Liqueur Creation: Craft Your Zesty Cello

Craft Your Own Rum – Blending & Barrel Experience

Go behind the barrel with our Head Distiller for an intimate tour, tasting, and blending session. Using premium aged rums, you’ll blend your own unique bottle to take home—complete with expert guidance and hands-on techniques.

High Tea and Cocktails in the Rainforest at Pethers Rainforest Retreat

Nestled in five acres of lush rainforest, Pethers Rainforest Retreat and Tamborine Mountain Distillery have teamed up to offer a one-of-a-kind high tea experience.
