Description:

Our Limoncello follows a traditional Italian method but with a distinct Australian twist. Made from handpicked Australian lemon zest, we carefully steep the lemon peels (without the pith) in the purest spirit, allowing the essential oils to be released over an extended period of time. After this meticulous infusion, we blend the resulting liquid with freshly squeezed lemon juice and a delicate, lightly balanced syrup. The sugar-to-water ratio is carefully adjusted to control the clarity, texture, and flavour of the final product.

The result is a vibrant yellow liqueur with bright, fragrant lemon peel aromas that fill the air. TMD Limoncello greets the palate with an immediate burst of fresh lemon flesh, enhanced by rich lemon oils. Notes of lime zest and a subtle juniper undertone add complexity, while hints of creamy lemon curd and key lime meringue pie emerge toward the finish. The overall taste is a smooth and refreshing experience, with just the right balance of citrus sharpness and sweetness.

Serving Suggestions: Traditionally served chilled as a post-dinner digestive in a chilled cordial glass. Shake well before serving to activate its full flavors and vivid colour. It also works beautifully in cocktails or can be drizzled over pastries and ice cream to add a citrusy touch.
